GLOBAL CHINESE COMMUNITY OF UNIVERSAL DIGITAL COMMONS

Mandarin Regional Prize Rules

1. Prize Pool & Distribution

In addition to the Global Prizes, a special Mandarin Regional Incentive of 4,000 USDT has been established by our sponsors to reward top talent from the Mandarin-speaking community:

Prize Tier Award Amount
Regional 1st Place 2,000 USDT
Regional 2nd Place 1,000 USDT
Regional 3rd Place 1,000 USDT

Note: This incentive is stackable. If a qualified participant/team also wins a Global Prize, they are eligible to receive both the Global and Regional awards.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Regional Incentive, at least one core member of the participant/team must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Residency: Currently residing in Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, or other overseas Mandarin-speaking communities.
  • Affiliation: Currently enrolled in or employed by an academic institution, Web3 laboratory, or corporation within the aforementioned regions.

The Regional Incentive is awarded per team, not per individual. The prize amount remains fixed regardless of the number of qualifying members within a team.

3. Verification SOP (Know Your Competitor)

Step 1: Pre-registration (By June 15, 2026)

Participants must register their Kaggle ID and contact information via the Regional Incentive Pre-registration. Failure to register by the deadline will result in forfeiture of the Regional Incentive.

Step 2: Private Shortlist & Verification Window

Upon the conclusion of the competition (July 1, 2026), the Organizing Committee will internally identify potential regional winners based on the Preliminary Kaggle Leaderboard.

  • Private Notification: Potential winners will be contacted via their registered email to initiate the verification process. This stage is confidential; being contacted does not guarantee a prize.
  • 72-Hour Response: Candidates must acknowledge the notice and submit all required identity and technical documents within 72 hours.
  • Disqualification & Reassignment: If a candidate fails to respond, fails the identity audit, or fails the Technical Reproducibility Audit, the committee will privately contact the next eligible participant.
  • Official Announcement: The final verified list of winners will be officially announced only after all audits are completed.

Step 3: Encrypted Audit & Technical Submission

Shortlisted candidates must submit the following via an encrypted channel within 72 hours of notification:

  • Identification: A government-issued ID, Student ID, or Utility Bill issued within the last 3 months. Sensitive info like ID numbers, date of birth, or account balances may be masked; only Name and Region/Address must remain visible.
  • Technical Package (Reproducibility & Write-up): A Technical Write-up (PDF/Markdown) detailing the detection logic. Please refer to the template and the sample write-up we've provided for the format. By submitting, participants agree that Bastet and Global Chinese Community of Universal Digital Commons reserve the right to publicly publish this Write-up for community transparency.
  • Wallet Address: A valid ERC-20 (Ethereum Mainnet) wallet address. By providing this address, participants confirm that they have sole and exclusive control over the private key. The Organizers will not be liable for any loss resulting from submission of exchange deposit addresses, shared wallets, or compromised keys.
  • Disbursement: Prizes will be sent via the Ethereum network. All transactions will be publicly verifiable on Etherscan.

4. USDT Disbursement Terms

  • Currency: All regional prizes will be paid in USDT via Ethereum Mainnet (ERC‑20).
  • Transaction Fees: Gas fees for the initial transfer will be covered by the organizers.
  • Compliance: Receiving addresses must not be listed on international sanction lists (e.g., OFAC).
  • Timeline: Payments will be processed within 14 business days following the completion of ID verification and Code Review.

5. Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance

  • Minimization: We only collect data necessary to prove regional eligibility. Participants are encouraged to redact non-essential personal identifiers before submission.

6. Disclaimers & Final Authority

  • If a top regional participant is disqualified due to cheating (Kaggle violations) or failure to pass the KYC audit, the prize will be awarded to the next eligible participant in the regional ranking.
  • Any violation of Kaggle's Terms or failure in the Technical Reproducibility Audit will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Bastet and GCC reserve the sole and final authority regarding regional eligibility, technical validation, and prize distribution.
  • The organizers reserve the right to request additional evidence or void any award if a submission contradicts the spirit of fair competition or Web3 security ethics. All decisions are final and binding.
  • Winners are solely responsible for compliance with their local tax laws.
